Last summer I wanted a rotary telephone to sit on my newly updated library desk. The telephones I found in my local antique/junk market were uninspiring. It was time for a makeover.
I found this beat-up dirty black and boring telephone sitting in a dusty corner. It was mine for $8. After taking it apart I decided a paint job was in order. I wasn’t sure it was going to work, but for $8 it was worth the risk.
I love it! Of course, the telephone doesn’t work, but then again, most people wouldn’t even know how to use it if it did work. (sigh) Yes, I guess I am that old!
